Peter Lund Meyer

Peter Lund Meyer advises public authorities, institutions and enterprises on the processes of strategic procurement, contract management, public tenders, control bids and public enterprise.

Additionally, Peter Lund Meyer extensively advises private enterprises on participation in public tenders, public-private collaboration, contract negotiations and also handles cases at the The Public Contracts Appeal Board and other forms of dispute resolution in relation to public authorities.

Peter Lund Meyer has extensive expertise with geographic infrastructure (SDI – Spatial Data Infrastructure) comprising regulation, production and sale of fundamental data (FOT-data) as part of the public digitalisation strategy. Peter Lund Meyer advises in detail on the market impact of the public sector’s map production and the Danish states’ Buy Out Scheme for detailed digital maps with effect from 1 January 2013. The advising comprises both state aid, competition law, public procurement law, governance and sector law.  

Additionally, Peter Lund Meyer has great experience with IT-projects, including public procurement, contract preparation, negotiation and management.

Peter Lund Meyer’s busy pen has, among other things, authored books on EU procurement law. To a great extent, Peter Lund Meyer also gives lectures on procurement law, the practical aspects of carrying out procurement processes and outsourcing at both seminars and conferences, as well as internally with authorities and enterprises. 

Peter Lund Meyer has previous experience from advisory- and management positions in the public sector, among these as legal caseworker with Local Government Denmark (Kommunernes Landsforening) in Copenhagen and in Brussels from 1994-1996, as head of section with Civil Aviation Administration Denmark (Statens Luftfartsvæsen) in 1998, and as purchasing manager with Gentofte Municipality (Gentofte Kommune).
